Solstice.
The sun stands still today.
Fields of brown, and something barren
Everywhere you look.
As above, so below.
Cloaked in darkness now,
Can you enter in?
This is a holy day.
For weeks, and months we have been preparing
Our hearts.
34 years, I have visited this day.
Yet this is the first one I understand.
A holy day,
The final surrender.
